Parents & others concerning adult children with disabilities
Our-Kids-Adults is a "Family" of parents, caregivers and others who are
working with adult, or nearing adulthood children with physical and/or mental
disabilities and delays. We call the list "Our-Kids-Adults". This name
originated from the "Our-Kids" list which represents children birth and up.
Although the word "disability" is not found in either mailing list name, we
avoid the pitfalls of labeling our "kids" as anything but what they most
certainly are: The wonderful children in our lives. Although they are grown
or almost grown, they will forever and always be our "kids". Visit the
