Let me add, there should be a gate or another way in so that it is easy to
get to the other side. We had a new school built-- they put in a circ desk
with one way in/one way out. It has been a real pain for the TL working
there. In an emergency situation or otherwise, we need to be able to get
to the other side of the desk with ease. Being blocked in, might be
aesthetically preferred for an architect, but is impractical.
