Friends
I worked with my Frosh/Soph ELA teacher today to administer Star Reading tests to her students for the upcoming year. After school was out, I printed out the Student Diagnostic Reports for her. As we looked at a few of them, she asked me a question I could not answer, and I thought the Great LM_NET Collective would have an answer . . .
Her question >>> How can a Freshman (grade student) be reading AT or ABOVE BENCHMARK (but on the low end), and have a GE: Grade Equivalent reading level of 8.4. She feels a Freshman student who meets the benchmark level should be reading at 9.0 or better.
Advice?
