Horacio,

MINC is composed of organizations and experts, who have different views
and work in different areas, but have common concerns on multilingual
addressing schemes over the Internet. And so far as I know, there has
always been the tension between policy oriented persons and technology
centered persons for a long time. Although many people are not so active
nowadays than before, most of them are very familiar with IETF or ICANN.
I think their membership application is very timely and positive sign
today when internationalized domain name has become one of priority
concerns in ICANN debate.

regards,

chun
