Yes, that's fine. Good to see you involved. You can discuss it more in
Sao Paulo. As the non-voting Secretary-Treasurer, however, I made my
recommendation and I am done. 

I insisted from the outset that the decision NOT be made on the basis
of whether we "like" this person or not but based on the criteria in our
charter. So far INTLNET's application has one vote in favor and two
votes against. 

MINC on the other hand has now 4 votes in favor and is in.

Based on our charter we can refuse a nonprofit org if it is, e.g., a
trade association, or if it is a member of another constituency. 

One other point: Mr. Morfin says that his motive for appliying is the
Task force on IDN. GNSO has told people that it must be part of a
constituency to participate in this TF. 

Whatever you do, please make it clear to Morfin (and to MINC) that the
constituency will decide who represents us on a Task Force. they cannot
appoint themselves to it. And the positions they take on that TF must be
vetted and approved by the constituency.
