Dear Cheryl,
As you know, we are a group of volunteers, with generally little time
available -- this is incidentally why I admire people like Milton who
dedicate precious time to keep us together and carefully prepare many of
our proposals. The proposal we have accepted (or most of us did as far
as I recall) represents the current view of NCUC in general.
Your alternative proposal merits reading, of course, but how to locate
the modifications?? I would not be able to do it unless you send us
another version clearly marking where the modifications are.
fraternal regards
--c.a.

Obviously a great deal of thought went into the draft. I started with the version of your NCUC received last Monday, and drafted an alternative to better account for many of the interests that have been raised by myself and others during the discussion of the formation of a new NCSG.
