Dear all,

As you know, there are currently discussions on whether the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy – UDRP – should be reviewed. The UDRP is the oldest ICANN policy and has never been reviewed. Ever since it was created 10 years ago, many academics, Milton Mueller, Michael Froomkin, Michael Geist and myself have argued that it is hugely unfair, biased and lacks provisions of due process and fair use.

As we will be having discussions on the state of the UDRP and we have to submit comments by July 15, 2011 – I thought that it would be a good idea to get a feeling as to what the community thinks, so I have created an online poll: Does the UDRP need a review?

You may find the link to vote here: http://snappoll.com/poll/370859.php

Thanks

KK
