How do you mean to no avail?
If things don't happen on your first or tenth mention, it is to no avail?
Did you really expect things to change immediately?
What NCUC has done up to now was according to charter and yours was one of few voices in NCSG that did not like it.
There have been discussions for ever about doing this. At one point you jumped in and had strong views.
So we all kept on talking.
And then at a certain point there was a general consensus that it was the thing to do and Bill did it.
Seems like it worked as it should have.
