I am just saying that we should be cautious and exercise care before we insinuate sinister behaviour on the part of Ms Sally Costerton.
FWIW I am very uncomfortable with this thread and its title. Lobbing public allegations with the implication of 'case proven' against a person, even if they are mere senior staff, before there's been due process and a reply from her and a finding of some sort seems inappropriate. I am also unclear why the singular responsibility for engaging in this falls to NCSG, how did we become the community's watchdog? Industry members are all over Xavier already on all matters budgetary etc.
There must be a better way to handle this issue than rushing into the street with torches and pitchforks. John Poole has raised the issue, a process will ensue, why don't we wait and see what comes out of it and in the meanwhile focus on issues of direct relevance to noncommercial stakeholders?
