You could probably get more mileage out of this by asking more specifically about how non-contracted stakeholders can balance and improve board decisions and deliberations. 

If I know ICANN, they may revert to their old line that board members don't represent any specific interest group but must set all that aside and take a vow of allegiance to ICANN the corporation. However, if that's the case why have NCPH appoint its own board member? Might be interesting to see how they handle that...
