Hi all,

Thank you for taking the effort to draft this. While the submission
raises many excellent points, I would suggest that paragraphs 9, 10
and 11 should be deleted, as it is fundamentally inconsistent with our
prioritization in terms of maximizing participation. ICANN has a
finite pot of money to spend on travel. If they can support 10
travellers on economy premium, or 12 people on basic economy, we
should be supporting the use of basic economy, so more people can
attend. I also think that the focus on status and air miles
appears frivolous and self-indulgent, and will serve to discredit the
other more valid and operational concerns that we raise.

Best,

Michael
