Hello everyone

Really glad to hear about the new members. We have an amazing spectrum
of countries and languages here.

I'll also take the opportunity to invite you to NCUC LAC Call 29Sept 18UTC
With presentations and debates by great community members such as
Kathy Kleiman, Ayden Ferdeline and Louise Hurel and many others
http://bit.ly/0929call

And I'd like to extend a special welcome to 2 people who have been
close supporting us already even before joining!

Luis Miguel Martinez, thanks so much for your insightful
participations in LACIGF and so many more internet governance spaces.
ISOC Mexico is doing a great job and we look forward do your
participation here too.

I'm sorry for the disaster which hit Mexico this week w/ the
earthquake. 70.000 ppl in the poorest regions hurts way beyond we can
rationalize. My feelings too for the folks in Caribbean and in the US
where the hurricanes have been so devastating.

Varsha Sewlal, whose profile on her achievements in South African
courts was a big hit on social media. Thanks so much for taking up
your Brazilian colleague Claudio suggestion and coming to our
outreach, it is always great to exchange ideas and good luck on your
PhD. My last 2 months of my PhD I made a life-changing decision, hope
this community gives you such opportunities too.

Best,

Renata
