Dear all,

We missed the deadline but let's try not to miss it by too much.

As Kathy observed it was earlier than before, and apparently we're
not the only ones to miss the deadline even though many did not.

But so far I've got only one question (from Ayden):

"How is the Board monitoring the performance of the Office of the
Ombudsman to ensure that harassment complaints filed are being
appropriately handled?"

If I've missed some please remind me.

In any case, we were asked to give them two questions. Surely there's
something else we want to ask them, too. Any suggestions would be
welcome.

As the Board may recall, community opinions differed over whether the Ombudsman was best placed to deal with such complaints, with some thinking that a committee of trained human resource professionals would be better positioned to examine cases, provide determination, and, where necessary, call for remedial action.
