Dear all,

Voting in our elections will begin today: unless some last minute
glitch intervenes, ballots will be sent at about 0900 UTC, or
in somewhat under two hours.

I will send another message after they have been sent - don't
look for one in your mailbox just yet.

But this is how it will go. If you have any questions or concerns,
don't hesitate to ask.

All voters will receive a message from [log in to unmask] containing
a personalized link to the ballot. The ballot will be a web form
with checkboxes for all candidates, like below.

In Chair election you can choose only one candidate.
There is no explicit "none of the above" -option, but if
you don't want to vote for either, simply leave both unselected.
(If you select both your ballot will be considered invalid.

In Council election you can choose four candidates, as there're
four seats available. Again, you can choose to select fewer
than four, even none (but if you select all five your ballot
will be considered invalid).

If you make a mistake or change your mind, you can vote again:
if you do that, only last of your votes will count.

Voting will last two weeks, ending at 2359 UTC on 3 September.

And reminder, there's another Meet the Candidates -call with
councillor candidates today at 1800 UTC. If you haven't yet decided
who to vote for to the council, please attend and/or send questions.
