Subject: Proposed Letter to Board re: NCSG Input into ICANN’s FY19 Budgetary Process

Dear all,

As you may know, last week ICANN published the proposed final Budget and Operating Plan for the coming fiscal year. This is problematic in several areas, and it has not addressed many of the concerns that the NCSG flagged within the draft Budget that was published back in January. Accordingly, I have prepared a brief comment to this effect.

As the Board is considering this matter in its meeting on Wednesday, in order for our comments to be reviewed, it is important that we send this letter tomorrow (pending Policy Committee approval, of course). The proposed letter is here:

Best wishes,

Ayden Férdeline
