Well, that's true if we put all 3 forward as well, isn't it?  At the Board level, C is not gonna happen either -- or am I mistaken.

But if C is what we want; and C isn't going to happen then either we are "purists" and say what we want or we are strategic and go for "one only and it is A" as our second choice.

Offering 3 to the Board that includes B is just a formula for the Board to take that sort of compromise model.

This is really a fun game theory question ...
