I'd also like to thank Farzaneh for accepting the nomination.

I will repeat I think these are crucial times for NCSG and Farzaneh being our chair will bring much needed change far beyond our ICANN actions. 

Farzaneh Badii has made a career as researcher and internet policymaker tackling difficult projects and making them thrive. 

The results of her work in NCUC can be seen in numbers, fellows who come to NCUC become engaged, productive and leaders. A quick read on fellowship survey and ICANN blog posts themselves on the program indicates this.

NCSG has two constituencies which are on the rise in every aspect of ICANN participation. 

It is time NCSG champion ICANN change into a much more diverse, transparent and accountable organization.

We are also very lucky to have so many good candidates running for GNSO Council and for this election overall, including the nominated.
