Hi Arsène

Ever heard of the game musical chairs?

So, basically, the Brazilian government just moved around some
politicians from their jobs, once people started complaining it was
dissing multistakeholderism.

But still there's a governmental authored public consultation to
determine the validity of the multistakeholder model for internet
governance until 8 Sept in Brazil.

So I'm afraid it's still not good news on the horizon

The government's target is CGIbr, a Brazilian institution which steers
the Brazilian internet in a multistakeholder model. To hit it, the
government may go as far as dissing multistakeholderism itself. This
is being moved behind the scenes as well by big telcos, unwilling to
share internet future decisions.
.
The tweet flood generated internationally by this news caused the gov
to be bothered but not enough as to continue its predatory
consultation

So keep tweeting as directed in the end of this link and let's hope
the dennouncing of this makes the gov change its mind

Best,

Renata
