Below is a draft timeline for the NCSG chair (2023-2024 term) and GNSO 
Councilor election (2023-2025 term)

The following terms are ending in 2023 and thus up for
election:

Julf Helsingius-chair, eligible for re-election

Manju Chen-GNSO Councilor, eligible for re-election
Tomslin Samme-Nlar- GNSO Councilor, eligible for re-election
Farell Folly-GNSO Councilor, NOT eligible for re-election

Election Timeline:

Nomination period: Monday, 01 May to 23:59 UTC Monday, 08 May
Candidate statements posted to NCSG mailing list by
  23:59 UTC Friday, 12 May
Membership Call with candidates (if needed) Monday, 15 May
Confidential, electronic voting period 00:00 UTC Wednesday,
  17 May to 23:59 UTC Wednesday, 24 May
Announcement of results Friday, 26 May
ICANN75 travel support deadline Friday, 23 June

As a reminder, any member of the NCSG may nominate any NCSG active
member either for the position of an NCSG GNSO Council Representative
or for NCSG Chair. Once nominated, the nominee is responsible for
public acceptance of the nomination and for making a public statement
that includes:

     Name, declared region of residence, gender and employment;
     Any conflicts of interest;
     Reasons for willingness to take on the tasks of the particular
        position;
     Qualifications for the position; and
     Statement of availability for the time the position requires.
     The nominee’s statement may also include any other information that
        the candidate believes is relevant.

Also note that under the rules, no more than two (2) NCSG GNSO Council 
Representatives can be declared resident of the same geographic region 
as defined by ICANN.
