I couldn't agree more, Edward.
A centralized DNS is something we could have get rid of
years ago, but ICANN pushed a centralized certification
structure instead (bringing new problems to the field) and
is pushing a new nightmare with BGPsec. Problems we
face every day with half-baked standards pushed to
universal acceptance by political, not technical, reasons
(IPv6 anyone? :))

Thanks for your thoughts.

BTW, I still believe that we must follow ISOC in this one
(and am in no way an ISOC fan)

Regards,

Enrique
