Hi,

Actually as members of Nomcom, it surprises me that all Nomcom members don't have to do one. Might be a great new touch for this year's nomcom. would be great to see not only the names of all the Nomcom choosers, but a list of their Interests as well. After all, they do hold the fate of ICANN in their hands

Besides, as a member of Nomcom for NCUC you are most definitely an active member of the SG.

Or anyone who's interested can visit my LinkedIn profile which I try to keep up to date: http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=1110917&trk=tab_pro

So the more people we have represented in the SOI directory, the better because it means lots of people are participating in the activities of ICANN. Amber and Konstantinos filed one because it was required for their respective stints as temporary replacements for a g-councilor. The paucity of NCSG members listed in the directory is a direct witness to how few of us participate in WGs.

It would be relatively easy for someone to copy the template from the GNSO wiki space and start one in the NCSG wiki space.

I notice that Amber and Konstantinos, our respective Chairs of NPOC and NCUC have completed their SOIs under the new format and we should all follow their lead. As many NPOC members have recently joined this discussion group, it would help us understand the web of relationships and degrees of separation in the NCSG community and their two constituencies. For new comers, knowing who you are dealing with is essential.
