Hi all,

Please would like you to connect me to anyone or bodies/organization
that could sponsor IGF remote hub activities at the Department of
Computer Science, University of Calabar, Nigeria.

I had long discussion with the president of Nigeria Association of
Computer Science (NACOS) of University of Calabar and some lecturers
about internet governance forum precisely remote hub organization,
they were happy and very interested to see it happening.

A lecturer said "this will help the students to see beyond theoretical
aspect of technology/Internet" Also it will help to raise awareness
about Internet Governance issues, fosters networking among students
and bring alive the realities of studying computer science while
encourages follow-up after the activities.

From our discussion, few among the students had overheard the name IGF
but do not know anything related to IGF. Having a remote hub (IGF)
present in this location (University of Calabar) will enable us raise
young and curios mind that will serve as IGF leader in various
capacities in Nigeria and nationwide.

I am currently financially incapacitated to make this event live at
the University of Calabar. I am on the edge whether to register the
remote hub or not. I would be glad if anyone can help or connect to
the relevant bodies or host country to finance this remote hub.

Regards
Peter
