Dear all,

If you are attending the Internet Governance Forum in Guadalajara,
whether in person or remotely, I would like to invite you to join NCSG
workshop

Civil Society Experiences from the IANA transition Process

on Thursday, 8 December, at 15:00 Guadalajara time (2100 UTC) in
workshop room 7.

The transition was a major effort from everybody involved in ICANN,
including us, and this is a good time to take a look back and see
how it went for us.

We have an interesting agenda and a very good set of speakers
who've been deep in the process.

Key issues for civil society during the transition debates
- transparency and accountability, community & staff accountability,
  role of governments, human rights

Successes and failures in the transition discussions
- barriers to effective participation
- what worked well for civil society

Strategies for the future
- substantive and procedural issues

Open discussion / Questions and Answers

** Speakers **

Farzaneh Badii, Aarti Bhavana, Alan Greenberg, Robin Gross,
