I went to Hong Kong Dec. 25th for the holidays. The earthquake in Taiwan
damaged undersea fiber cables, cutting off HK from the global internet
for several days. We could get local and most China Internet but most US
sites were inaccessible for days. Even phone service was out for a
while. An FYI and reminder that the Internet is not eternal....
