Reid's online site up, in race
Candidate pays for roryreid.com
By FRANK GEARY
LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL

Sep. 20, 2009

Gene Smith, who in 2002 registered Internet domain names featuring the
names of Southern Nevada politicians, sold roryreid.com for $10,000 to
Reid, who is using the site in his campaign for governor..

The story cites UDRP and one wonders how things would have turned out
with IRT's proposed Uniform Rapid Suspension? Imagine Civil Society
(backdoor) exclusion from ICANN.... Power combined with money would
finally and completely rule the internet - all others' Rights would be
but in vain.
