The UN has named its special rapporteur on privacy, Joseph Cannataci
from Malta.  For more information on the process and candidates, look
here http://www.ohchr.org/EN/HRBodies/SP/Pages/HRC29.aspx, his biog is
attached.  Could be interesting, although he is much less well known
than many of the other candidates.
