Yes. Hilton seems to have a nice set with four different sockets,
South African, UK, Euro (grounded, schuko) and US/Euro non-grounded.
Most people should find at least one there that works.

I don't know whats the situation is in the conference center,
haven't made it there yet.

Yes. I could lend one too to someone in need, bought two of them
last time I was in SA and took along now.
