Thanks Avri,

Very pleased you are willing to continue to volunteer to serve the NCSG. Your experience in ICANN/GNSO policy is work second to none, and I can't think of many (any?) who have worked so diligently for us over the years.

My endorsement for Avri's candidacy :-)

Adam

In addition to helping dotgay LLC understand ICANN, I am helping to define policies including its community governance model. I am also responsible for helping it create a non-profit foundation to administer these donated profits.

The NCSG, as the only group purely involved with non-commercial concerns, relies on the existence of a strong GNSO in order to represent non commercial interests at ICANN. The attacks against the GNSO and its role in making policy are escalating. I beleive that if the GNSO is successfully attacked, non commercial interests suffer. I think I can help in the defense of the GNSO.

I agree with those who say there is a need for new blood in the council and I have endorsed the candidacy of some new blood. I think having some old blood can also be useful. I think I can be rather useful in working toward NCSG goals and in helping other NCSG Council Representatives adjust to the council and be productive.
