Dan Krimm has been active on the Whois WG list on "access" and is also
poised to take on a lot of responsibility in the "keep the core neutral"
campaign. Therefore I think it would be good to get him to the San Juan
ICANN meeting, as well. Many of us have never met him f2f, and I think
it would pay off to get someone as involved as he more directly
acquainted with the personalities and politics of ICANN.

But wanting to stretch our money as far as possible, I'm concerned about
spending too much on this meeting. So I would propose to grant him $1000
as opposed to the larger amounts for our Council members, who need to be
there the whole time. That wll total $4600 for this meeting, less than
Sao Paulo meeting but close to the norm of about $4000/meeting.

I strongly support this request but need the other votes on the Exec.
Committee to approve it.
