Hello Steve,
Have you tried stopping and restarting the spectrometer server. If the
communications between the STE crate in the instrument and the PlasmaLab
software has been interrupted then this is what I would try to start with.
Go to the PC "Settings" to find the server, then stop the IC MS and re-start
it.
Cheers
Chris

Subject: New Detector Problems...
List: We have a PQExcell and just meticulously installed the first
replacement detector. Visually all seems correct and we have a good vacuum
but, we are getting no indication of a signal at all. We are not just
getting background or even zeroes but a blank under our ICPS column in our
tuning panel and in other locations where we can monitor a signal. We are
reasonably confident that the detector has been installed correctly but we
are obviously experiencing a serious problem. Any suggestions especially
from other PQExcell labs would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Steve
