yes - if you hear the sparking noise & the plasma does not light at all, i
would assume there is a problem with either the RF power generator (is it
on?) and/or the RF matching network. The matching network contains 2
capacitors that are shifted in position using motors, the capacitors can
seize or the motors can fail. you may want to check & make sure all
connections to the RF generator & matchbox are properly seated and in place.
I must say that i have never heard of anyone having a torch rebuilt... are
you sure it has been rebuilt to the proper specifications? do you get
different results when using a different torch?
