Subject: Xenon levels in Argon
I am trying to lower my Xenon counts on an Elan DRC. I currently get about 1800 counts at mass 131 (my instrument gets about 50K counts for 1ppb Indium). Years ago, I learned that the Argon source (the production plant it comes from) effects Krypton levels and suspect the same may be true for Xenon. What are typical levels that users see?
Any suggestions on reducing Xenon? Thanks
