I was speaking with one of my LA users and he recommended using a Teflon slug with a slit cut in top or just placing the sample on the slide since it should not move once in place.

Subject: quick sample mounting for laser ablation
I am thinking of using super glue to fix some sieved sediment particle size fractions to a microscope slide prior to LA-ICP-MS. I seem to remember that these glues are relatively metal free. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm literally looking for a quick fix here.
