Hi Steve, Otto, Andrew, et. al.,
This thread is going exactly the way I always wanted such threads to unfold. Customers can have at it all they want. If things get out of hand, other customers usually get it back under control.
Manufacturers can weigh in when something said is plain wrong or if directly invited into the discussion. The onus of restraint has always been the responsibility of the manufacturers and this condition remains the same today and will continue into the future. I know that manufacturer representatives hate this policy, but the seasoned ones realize that in the end if they put their emotions aside, their company comes out better than if they wade into the storm hot headed and say something that could do the company lasting harm.
The manufacturers need us. We need the manufacturers. Fairly simple system.

I think we just said enough for a Thursday, or else Michael Sperling doesn't like my cell gas jokes. Either way, I think I made the Thermo and the Agilent people equally mad at me over the course of several posts, so as a government employee, I must have made the appropriate comments. I used to make the PerkinElmer people mad too, maybe still do. I am an equal vendor offender. As Forrest Gump said, "That's all I have to say about that."

If for some reason the discussion cannot continue on-line, I would also be very interested in a comparison of traits if it would be possible to copy me. I am trying to compare the two systems for probable purchase in the next year or so, thus relevant, in addition to my personal interest.
