I (and the Boulder Community Network - BCN) was active when NCDNHC was originally formed, but somehow managed to fall out of membership, it appears. We'll get that straightened out soon. In the meantime, I just looked at the NCUC discussion list archives, and don't see any discussion of what I see as a huge current issue: the lastest abuse by Verisign (Network Solutions): using their control over the .com and .net registries to advertise their registrar by establishing a wild-card record for *.com and *.net. I think NCUC should take an immediate stand against this as has the ICANN At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC). I've collected (in a rather unpolished way so far...) many of the issues at http://bcn.boulder.co.us/~neal/ietf/verisign-abuse.html Please lend your insight into the ICANN legalities and politics to this discussion. Thank you, Neal McBurnett http://bcn.boulder.co.us/~neal/ Signed and/or sealed mail encouraged. GPG/PGP Keyid: 2C9EBA60
