It's been pointed out to me that at the moment, registries are barred by contract from contacting individual registrants. Nevertheless, I think adding something about the advisability of sponsored TLDs consulting their community is a good idea.

My thought was that where the issue could be approached with
granularity because of the community dynamic, this would be better.  But
in ICANN-land I suppose it is better to err on the side of uniformity
than flexibility.
