I would like to add, for Asia/Policy, the name of Pindar Wong/Hong Kong. I am sure he is known to many as the chair of the ICANN funded, then discarded study on the At-Large system. - I propose his name also as I have heard his presentation on Internet Governance at the *UN ICT Task Force Regional Meeting on Internet Governance * *21 May 2004 where he proposed that the Internet cannot be "governed" as it is a network of networks - and there is still much to be done to organize multiple open processes of continuing coordination of different stakeholders. * * Norbert Klein * * * == Milton Mueller wrote: >List of Nominees so far >(Just a summary to expose the gaps, things are still open) >==================== > >Region: Africa > Technical: > Policy: Meryem Merzouki > >Asia-Pacific > Technical: Paul Wilson > Policy: Eung Hwi Chun > >Europe > Technical: > Policy: Karen Banks > >Latin America > Technical: Raul Echeberria, Florencio Utreras > Policy: Oscar Robles (LACTLD), Carlos Afonso (RITS), Erick Iriarte > >North America > Technical: Karl Auerbach > Policy: Pamela Samuelson, Susan Crawford, William Drake > > > >
