Frannie,

The .15 cent price increase represents a Registry Transaction Fee that PIR must pay ICANN under the terms of the current .ORG Registry Agreement.

Thanks,

Subject: [.ORG Advisory Council] .org fee increase

Hi everyone,

The NCUC is wondering about the PIR fee increase - why the increase is necessary in relation to costs.

Public Interest Registry Notice of Price Increase [PDF, 393K]

We know that there are fee increases for the other domains as well, but are wondering about the need for this in the .org space. Any comments would be helpful.

Thanks,

Frannie
