Per our meeting in Lisbon, the ALAC had an action item to choose a
representative to liaise with the NCUC to facilitate joint policy and
outreach.

We are sorry that it took so long, but we had several volunteers for the
position. We have now determined on one name, which is Carlos Dionisio
Aquirre (copied on this email)

Carlos is a LAC representative from the LACRALO, and a Lawyer and =
Attorney
at Law, Citizen of Argentina, Country of residence Argentina. Currently =
he
is the Chairman of his Own legal organization called SitioDerecho =
HYPERLINK
"http://www.sitioderecho.com.ar"www.sitioderecho.com.ar . Which provides
variety of services to companies, focusing in legal and economical =
advisory
and in the particular situation of the relations that are established in =
the
frame of the New Economy Society Information. His professional labor =
takes
place inside and outside the courts of justice, taking special interest =
in
the preventive task, of advice and control to anticipate any potential
problems that can emerge in the client=B4s activity. His most relevant =
duty,
involves the coordination of the professionals. At the same time he is =
the
Owner of Lawyers Team, working as external consultant empowered in =
C=F3rdoba
of the Patagonia Bank, job that has developed in last 10 years also in
LLOYD=B4S TSB BANK. He=92s also a Professor of Economy in the Law and =
Social
Sciences School of the Cordoba National University since 1990 and  Main
Teacher in =93Law, Economic and Business in the Information Society=94 =
in the
Law and Social Sciences School of the Cordoba National University, which =
is
one of the few classes in Argentinian Universities referred to Computer =
Law.
He was also the responsible of the project that gave birth to this
initiative.=20

interests
of the civil society in ICANN policy processes.
