I think that sound reasonable Milton – especially the old
members acting in their capacity until after the Cairo meeting.

Subject: Proposed schedule
Importance: High
Dear members:
Here is a proposed schedule for the next few months. It is a critical time
because we need to have elections and develop a new charter/constitution for
the emerging "noncommercial stakeholders group" envisaged by the GNSO
reform process.
Chair and Exec Committee have to execute this but I may as well send it to the
entire list for comment:
Charter
=======
Draft of new NCUC/NCSG charter : develop Sept 1 - October 15.
Elections
=========
Nominations open September 15, Monday, close Friday October 10
Positions open:
- Chair
- All 5 Regional EC positions
- 2 Council seats
Voting begins October 13, open until October 20
Results announced October 22.
The new officers would be in place for the Cairo meeting; however the old
Council members would continue to serve until the end of the Cairo meeting.
