Hi everyone
As a follow-up, this is to let everyone know that the Implementation
Recommendation Team (IRT) formed by the IPC in response to the Board's
resolution in Mexico City (to look into recommendations to protect
trademarks in the new gTLD space) will be conducting a briefing for NCUC
sometime on Thursday afternoon.
If those in Sydney can let me know what times are best on Thursday
afternoon for such a briefing, I will arrange it with those members of
the IRT who will be conducting the briefing. Just FYI - and as those who
have followed the IRT process as well as the events unfolding here in
Sydney will know - the IRT recommendations are forming a significant
part of the new gTLD agenda. As such, I urge all NCUC'ers to attend
(physically or remotely) the Thursday briefing.
