The deadline for submitting public comments on the stakeholder
group charters has been
extended until
THURSDAY 23 July -- 3 days from now.
NCUC will file a statement rejecting the charter proposed by
ICANN and insisting that ICANN live up to its obligation to support
bottom-up processes by respecting the work that civil society did in
drafting the charter that ICANN entirely discarded.
Individual members should also send a comment to remind ICANN to
listen to noncommercial users about how the model ICANN is trying to
impose will stranglehold us and keep us ineffective in the GNSO.
