Hi all,

For those on the ground in Seoul, we've arranged an opportunity for NCUC and ALAC members to learn more about the Madrid Declaration <http://thepublicvoice.org/madrid-declaration/>.  Many individual and organizational members of NCUC have recently signed, and it would be great if NCUC could sign on as well.

Professor Graham Greenleaf, who is currently teaching at Kyung-Hee University, will be coming to the ICANN meeting today.  If you would like to learn more about the declaration and how to sign on, please send me a note and meet us in the lobby of the Lotte at 5:00 near the front desk.  We can then figure out a place to sit down and chat.

Best,

Dear Graham, Hong Xue,

Sorry for not contacting you earlier today, the NCUC had its constituency meeting today and the schedule was jam packed.

Tomorrow is busy as well, but maybe we could do an informal joint NCUC/ALAC get together around 5:00 PM to learn a little more about the Madrid Declaration and how to sign on?

Let me know if this sounds OK and I'll pass it on to the NCUC members and work on lining up a space.  We have about 30 members here.

Thank you very much for this opportunity.

I will bring 30 copies of the Declaration with me, plus details of how to sign on.

Perhaps we could meet in the hotel lobby shortly before 5.

My local mobile number is 010 8659 4537. Please send me yours if you have one, or give me a call. I will be in a seminar from 10:30-1.

Regards,

Graham

Lets see if its possible to have a NCUC-ALAC meeting on this topic, too.

But I will defer to the locals to see how best achieve our goals to explain to civil society the importance of this Declaration

Best Regards,

Katitza

Dear Prof. Graham

Thank you very much. Indeed, Hong will do her best at the ALAC meeting. :)
We would be delighted to be able to do the same with the NCUC NGOs and experts in Seoul.
We need more experts to help us spread the importance of this declaration to all civil society participants in ICANN.

Warm Regards,

Katitza

Dear Robin,

Sorry for my slow reply. I am tied up teaching at Kyung-Hee University until mid-afternoon tomorrow (Wednesday) when I will be coming to the ICANN meetings with Lee Bygrave and Vivek.

If there is anything I can do to assist from that point, I will try to. It sounds as though Hong is presenting info to ALAC.

Regards,

Graham
