Subject: Re: [NCSG-Discuss] Please propose discussion topics for NCSG's meetings at next month's ICANN Meeting in Durban

Bill's point about bringing back Friday is very well put.
Ok, so would NCSG and its constituencies agree with a joint letter with ALAC calling for reinstatement of Fridays?
I am also suggesting that the whole issue of policy versus implementation is also a potential biggie for the AT-Large/NCSG meet, at very least because I think there is a lot of confusion about what the core issues are here. I was hoping that this would be handled in a cross-constituency WG since all of ICANN has a stake in how this issue evolves. But be the situation as it is, this is an area where I see common goals and potential for common positions.
I could agree to that, perhaps with ™ + 50 as a case in point? What do others think? We generally seem to find common ground more easily on process/institutional stuff rather than specific gTLD issues, and this is a big one we've raise in and out of council….
