The plug used in South Africa is unique to here and India; the old UK style of three round prongs.
A US plug will generally not work; however, the hotel I'm at right now in Johannesburg has a single US socket in the room.

So - I have an American 115 volt power plug on the laptops I'm bringing. Am I going to be able to plug it in? If not - what do I need?
