Hi Maria,

I think we need to get this done very quickly and thus it should be finalized before the end of this week. A possible process, as we have in some procedural definitions inside NCSG (as far it is written black on white), is the voting rounds. Although I’m convinced that the weight NPOC has will not allow to have a chance our candidate will pass the process, which I feel is unfair and not democratic. So we need to find a solution acceptable for everybody. Let us try this afternoon, perhaps jumping out during the privacy meeting, and get a solution on paper ?

Kind regards,

Thanks, everyone. Good observation, Seun!

Milton, do you accept the nomination?

As I've just told the NCSG Policy Committee list, we have two candidates (assuming each accepts); Milton Mueller and Sam Lanfranco. This means we have a contested process. It's the NCSG PC's job to make the selection, so I am going to consult with my alternate Chair, Rudi, on how to move forward procedurally.

Are there any further nominations? I'll close off the acceptance of new nominations in 1 hour, i.e. at 1500 local time in London.

All the best, Maria
