Thanks Rafik
And just noting that this call is at 2am - 4am New Zealand time - eep!
For future meetings, I'd really appreciate consideration of either rotating the time zone for this or having it later (or earlier) if possible.
Thanks

Joy

Hi Matthew,

Currently there is no proposal  or statement under discussion within NCSG PC.
Regarding public comment, we have to review this https://www.icann.org/public-comments and prioritise which we want to respond among the open comments. Also active members of Working groups may raise our attention regarding an issue or warning us early about position or feedback to send.
We will have in Tuesday our NCSG confcall when we will get several updates about ongoing policy developement processes aka PDP and GNSO council motions e.g The charter for cross community working group on accountability for which Avri shared some drafts.
btw for previous NCSG positions, they can be found here https://community.icann.org/m/mobile.action#page/38046263

Hi

Is there a list of comments/positions papers, etc., underway or under consideration by the policy committee (with timelines/deadlines, etc.)?

Can someone point me to it.

Thanks.

Matthew

If this group has the energy to write stuff there probably a lot more important comments to make on issues than a letter to the board.  I remain strongly against this action.

How many comment periods have we let slip by without a comment?  how many are coming up that we have no one working on?

I think we should focus on getting our own work done before we go around congratulating other people on doing their work.

Just saying

Thanks, Rafik. Based on what has been raised in the list, under AOB maybe
we should include the discussion about writing a letter in support of
Crockers´s communication to the GAC.
