I join so many others in strongly supporting Stefania for the GNSO. She is a brilliant academic and an engaged NCUC member, performing a formidable work at the Executive Committee. Her strong analytical skills, that were clear on her sharp analysis of the Westlake report, will be of invaluable importance when discussing policies at the GNSO. We would be lucky to have her as our representative at the Council.

Best wishes,
Marília

I would also like to join this chorus of support for Stefania.  In particular, I want to give a shout out to her for all the hard and largely invisible work she put into the analysis of the Westlake Report (GNSO Review).  Our comments taking apart their shoddy methodology were critically important, and her contribution was key.  Thanks for all the hard work!

Hi

Great to see people throwing their hats into the ring.

Stefania's a solid scholar who’s done good work in the NCUC EC and should be a fine councilor.

Cheers

Dear all,

Hereby I would like to nominate Dr. Stefania Milan for a GNSO council
position for the NCSG. Stefania has shown a lot of initiative while on
the NCUC executive community, especially to make the NCSG more
visible, transparent and accessible for people outside of ICANN. Her
knowledge of languages (including Spanish and Portuguese) could
greatly benefit the important work of (further) diversifying the
membership and stimulating engagement.

Furthermore Stefania has shown a very thorough understanding of Internet
Governance issues, both in ICANN and beyond, through her impressive body
of academic writing in which grassroots issues get connected to
international governance questions.

With Stefania's experience in the GAC, as and academic, as a grassroots
activist and member of the NCUC EC I think she has very good credentials
to represent us in the GNSO council.

Best,

Niels
