Hi Yes, I would follow. I'm also a follower of NPOC on twitter. Some of my classes and lectures are taught via Periscope too. (I am not under 20s unfortunately but half of my students are - the undergrads, not the postgrads) It is a great idea since most of the time I am on the road trying to follow up meetings in IG venues and Connect and Webex are not such great apps for those of us on mobile in the Global South. Periscope is easier to interact Just like Snapchat you have the issue that it is instantaneous media so by default the content expires What we usually do with stuff we really want to keep is to use something to extract the video afterwards from Periscope and send it out to Youtube (there are Firefox extensions and such that do this). There's an example here in Maranhão https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zB4NR8TklWI Also, maybe you can make automatic backup get the media. I've made it work for Snapchat but never tried for Periscope.
