Issue 7 of the Geneva Digital Watch newsletter is out! Published on 31 January 2016, the issue provides the latest digital policy updates which took place in January. The main highlights:
- This issue's editorial highlights 'techno-realism' as the echoing message for the month, reinforced by two reports published in January: the World Bank’s report on Digital Dividends, and the World Economic Forum’s report on Internet Fragmentation.
- The feature on predictions for 2016 looks at the global trends we can expect in the upcoming months, and predicts the main developments in digital policy, including privacy, security, e-commerce, legal developments, net neutrality, the IANA transition process, and more.
